Magdalena Korpas (born in Gdansk, Poland, and currently living in Paris) is a stage and film actress.
When she came to Paris five years ago, her French speech wasn't very strong, so she started out in The Polish Theater run by Monique Stalens. Shortly after, and as her French improved, she got a role in "Le mariage du Figaro" at the Théâtre du Lucernaire directed by Francois Havan. A year after that, she started a cooperation with "EVE Company," and as a result acted in the play "Les squatteurs" at Theatre des Deux Reves where she played one of the leading roles.
At the end of 2010, Magdalena got a role in a feature film by Djamel Bensalah titled "Beur sur la ville" portraying a "ghetto girl" character. Soon after, she won a role in Caroline Huppert's film "Pour Djamila" where she played "Zorika," a girl form Hungary.
In the meantime, she acted in many shorts films ("CM" by Julien Kotny in a role as a princess, "I love you Q" by Michael Moreiras, "CM" by Remi Chapeaublanc as a lesbian character, "Les droits du sang verse" by Alexandre Donot in a role as a journalist, "Asleep" by David Dang, and many more) and appeared in many commercials (Camembert Le Petit, Internet Optic, Internet Pantex, L'assurance Churchill, and others) and music videos for the bands La Rumeur, ProXima, Didai, Amel Bent, The Middle East, Faith, and more.
While attending her drama school and different courses (Studio Pygmalion, Shakespear Acting, Compagnie "Le vélo volé" by François Ha Van, the Stanislavski Method with François Clavier, "Cours du corps a l'âme" with Nirupama Nityanandan, and L'atelier Théâtre Monique Stalens, to name a few) she had graduated from Theater Studies at Sorbonne Nouvelle, Paris III and philosophy studies at the The Polish Institute of Philosophy in Paris.
